“Candy Man” Busted for Selling Drugs Out of Snack Truck

ST. LUCIE COUNTY, FLORIDA — Today, detectives at the Port St. Lucie Police Department announced the arrest of Radames Guzman aka “The Candy Man” after a sting revealed he was selling drugs out of his mobile snack food truck.

Guzman told police that he began selling fentanyl, cocaine, marijuana and psilocybin mushrooms from his snack truck to offset the bad economy. After obtaining a search warrant, detectives raided the “Xotic Snackz” truck parked at the 1300 block of Southwest Gatlin Boulevard and seized the following:

• 10,000 Fentanyl pills with a street value of $300,000

• 626 grams of cocaine

• 4.4 lbs of marijuana

• 7 grams of psilocybin mushrooms

• 1000 grams of THC wax

• 2 drug pill presses

• 9 firearms

Guzman was arrested and charged with 22 drug-related crimes including trafficking in fentanyl, trafficking in cocaine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of drug equipment, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana over 20 grams, and use of a 2-way communication device to facilitate a felony.
