TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA — State Attorney General Ashley Moody’s re-election campaign has released a new video ad, highlighting her achievements and priorities as Florida’s chief legal officer.
“Ashley Moody defends our laws and those who enforce them. So when extremists tried defunding our police, instead of defending our streets, Ashley Moody fought back,” a narrator in the fast-paced Hollywood-style video says.
The ad also focuses on Moody’s dedication to combat illegal immigration and human trafficking. The attorney general is hosting Florida’s Human Trafficking Summit – a virtual event that takes place tomorrow, Tuesday.
The conference brings together local, state, and national leaders working to eradicate all forms of trafficking. The purpose is to provide learning opportunities that facilitates the protection of victims, trafficking prevention and prosecution of traffickers.
Attorney General Moody is the chair of Florida’s Statewide Council on Human Trafficking, which was created in 2014. The 15-member council builds on existing state and local partnerships working to combat human trafficking. Members include law enforcement officers, prosecutors, legislators and experts in health, education, and social services.
