TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA — Last Friday, Governor Ron DeSantis and First Lady Casey DeSantis welcomed over 250 Florida heroes to attend the inaugural Florida Heroes Reception at the Governor’s Mansion. Heroes included police officers, first responders, and veterans who risked their health and safety to serve and protect their communities and country.
“It was wonderful to welcome so many brave men and women from across Florida and the nation to the Governor’s Mansion for the first ever Heroes Reception, which my wife, our First Lady Casey DeSantis, devised to honor those who serve their local communities so selflessly,” said Governor DeSantis.
