TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA — During the 2023 legislative session, Florida lawmakers in the House and Senate passed numerous high-profile bills that lined up with the priorities of Governor Ron DeSantis.
According to the governor, the landmark legislation enacted during the 60-day session is a model for the entire nation. Major issues addressed include abortion, affordable housing, the death penalty, election integrity, constitutional carry, immigration, lawsuit reforms, protection of children and school choice.
