CRESTVIEW, FLORIDA — A Florida man was arrested last month for keeping hundreds of files of child pornography and bestiality videos.
Zachary Ward, 29, was charged with 30 counts of possession of child pornography, two counts of transmission of child pornography, three counts of bestiality and the use of a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony, according to a press release from the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies with the Sheriff’s Office and Internet Crimes Against Children Unit executed a search warrant and arrested Ward on April 27. The search was conducted as part of a joint investigation by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement and Department of Homeland Security.
Investigators with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children began looking into Ward in July 2021 after receiving a cybertip.
