NORTH RHINE-WESTPHALIA, GERMANY — Young children at German day care centers are being encouraged to masturbate before they are old enough to read, a new report indicates.
Two nurseries in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia have discussed plans to promote spaces where young children can explore masturbation, according to Fox News.
The outlet cited the German newspaper Die Welt, which reported that one daycare claims children masturbating at the facility is of “great importance.” Die Welt shared its findings with the local authorities, who said they don’t plan on taking any action.
Josephine Paul, head of the state’s children’s ministry, told the paper that “sexual behavior by children” could not be “prevented.”
Another center in Hanover told parents that it intends to introduce “doctor games” in which children can “pet and examine” themselves and others, according to the Remix News – an outlet that covers countries in Central Europe.
“All children, especially preschoolers, are aware of the places in the facility where nudity and body exploration can take place,” the center said. “Each child decides for themselves whether and with whom they want to play physical and sexual games. Girls and boys pet and examine each other only as much as is comfortable for themselves and other children.”
The alarming trend of sexualizing young children is spreading throughout Western nations and has generated significant media coverage in states across America.
Throughout the 2022-2023 school year, school board meetings were marked by parents decrying scores of sexually explicit books available to elementary and middle school students in classroom libraries.
In August 2022, The Florida Standard reported on a book in a Tampa middle school that features explicit instructions on anal and oral sex, hand jobs and how to use sex apps.
