TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA — President Joe Biden’s campaign has bought ad time in Florida targeting the pro-life track records of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and former President Donald Trump.
The ad is directed toward women voters.
“Reproductive health care decisions are among the most personal a woman would ever make,” the ad says. “They are choices that should be made by you and your doctor. And the last people that should be involved are these guys” – as the images of DeSantis and Trump appear.
The ad makes mention of Trump touting that “I’m the one that got rid of Roe v. Wade,” and of DeSantis defending the six-week abortion ban that he signed into law.
President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris made the pitch at the end of the ad that they will restore Roe v. Wade.
“President Biden and Vice President Harris are determined to restore Roe v. Wade and they will never allow a national abortion ban to become law,” the ad concludes. “As long as they are in office, decisions about your body will be made by you, not by them.”
KAMALA DODGES ABORTION LIMITS QUESTION
In a recent interview, Vice President Harris was asked her exact policy position on abortion and if she is in favor of any kind of restrictions or if she supports abortions until birth.
Social media users blasted Harris for seemingly refusing to give a concise answer. Some even speculated that she actually supports abortion up until birth.
“Let me be very clear. From day one, the president has been clear, I have been clear,” Harris insisted. “We need to put back the protections that are in Roe v. Wade into law. Since the Supreme Court took it, Congress has the power and ability to pass legislation to put those protections back in law and Joe Biden will sign that bill. So, that is what we want.”
So.... when does she support abortion up until?
