WASHINGTON, D.C. — Women in the U.S. military are reportedly being forced to shower with men due to the LGBTQ-driven paradigm that gender is fluid rather than fixed.

Sen. Mike Rounds (R-SD) told Fox News on Monday that an 18-year-old military recruit shared her story anonymously to avoid possible repercussions. Some gender-confused men choose to have doctors cut off their genitalia in an effort to help align their body with their delusional mindset, but the recruit told Rounds that two of the men in her shower have not had such surgeries.

Rounds claims he heard of the incident via the South Dakota National Guard’s attorney general.

“He had contacted our office very concerned about the information he had received from the recruit,” Rounds said. “The respect that this young recruit should have received and the privacy that she should have had, she was being deprived of.”

In responding to the allegations, the Pentagon did not deny the incident had occurred, but instead offered a response that seemed to sympathize more with the confused men than the woman.

“DoD policy is that all Service members must be treated with dignity and respect,” the statement said. “We would encourage any troop who’s feeling uncomfortable or has concerns about privacy in shared spaces to work through their chain of command. Commanders may employ reasonable accommodations to respect the privacy interests of Service members.”

On Tuesday, Governor Ron DeSantis released a detailed plan to restore America’s military by “ripping the woke out of the military and return it to its core mission.” DeSantis has repeatedly blamed President Biden for injecting radical Left-wing social theory into the nation’s armed forces.

Rounds also ripped the Biden administration and said the military’s LGBTQ polices have placed the female recruit in “an extremely uncomfortable position.”

“I think this is one of the reasons why we're not meeting our recruitment goals now.”
