NYC Mayor Wants Residents to House Migrants In Their Apartments

Adams wants New Yorkers to open their homes for foreign strangers that have poured into the city due to Biden’s border invasion.

NEW YORK — New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) is urging city residents to open their private homes for illegal aliens.

It is my vision to take the next step to these faith-based locales and then move to a private residence ... Because of economic challenges, they have spare rooms,” Mayor Adams said at a press conference on Monday.

Adams hinted that it would be better for “everyday New Yorkers” to get a share of the $4.3 billion that the city is expected to spend on housing the wave of migrants that have poured into the city due to Biden’s open borders. That way, the funds would not only go to “corporations.”

The New York City mayor also stated that up to 50 places of worship will be turned into asylum shelters, which he claimed would help “integrate asylum seekers into our local community.”

“It is an amazing return on our investment,” Adams stated.

Thousands of migrants that have been funneled into the U.S. in accordance with the United Nations Global Compact for Migration arrive in New York every week, and the city is struggling to figure out where to put them.
