ATLANTA, GEORGIA — Six additional lawmakers in New Hampshire have put their support behind Governor Ron DeSantis, giving him the highest support for a Republican candidate among lawmakers in the Granite State.
A total of 59 political leaders, state representatives, county commissioners, the House Majority Leader and House Majority Whip now back Florida’s governor for president. Several endorsers flipped their support from Donald Trump to DeSantis because they see him as the best candidate for the future.
“Governor DeSantis is the battle-tested leader New Hampshire and our country needs,” House Majority Whip Jeanine Notter said today. “His whole life has been dedicated to fighting for our freedoms, and I know he will continue to protect American families and stand up for what’s right as our next President.”
“At a time when our nation is spiraling downward thanks to Joe Biden – from our economy to our military recruitment to our education system – we need someone who will focus on the future and get our country on the right track, which is why I’m proud to endorse Ron DeSantis for President,” Notter added.
The six new endorsements in New Hampshire include:
House Majority Whip Jeanine Notter (Hillsborough - District 12)
Representative Maureen Mooney (Hillsborough - District 12)
Representative Oliver Ford (Rockingham - District 3)
Representative Michael Harrington (Strafford - District 18)
Representative James Connor (Strafford - District 19)
Rockingham County Commissioner Brian Chirichiello (District 3)
