Southern Border Flooded with Thousands of Middle Eastern Illegal Aliens: Report

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Recently leaked data from U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) to Fox News shows that thousands of illegal aliens from terrorist-harboring nations have been stopped by CBP from October 2021 to October 2023.

In total, 30,830 illegals hailed from Turkey, 15,594 from Mauritania, 12,624 from Uzbekistan, 6,386 from Afghanistan, 3,153 from Egypt, 1,613 from Pakistan, 659 from Iran, 538 from Syria, 185 from Jordan, 164 from Lebanon, and 123 from Iraq.

The leaked report did not specify if these individuals were forced to turn back or were allowed into the country only to be given a later notice to appear.

The CBP referred to these individuals as “special interest aliens” originating from nations that the U.S. government has labeled a potential for terror threats by either endorsing terrorism against the U.S. or protecting it.

ADD THE “GOTAWAYS”

The numbers from the latest report come on the heels of other sources indicating that as many as 1.5 million illegal aliens have now been deemed “gotaways” – illegals who snuck past border detection successfully.

Similarly, a 61-page report acquired by the GOP House Judiciary Committee staff indicated that since the Biden administration went soft on border enforcement, illegal alien encounters at the border now exceed 2.2 million since the beginning of fiscal year 2023.

"Because of the unprecedented border crisis, some Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers have been forced to abandon arrests and removals of aliens, including criminal aliens, to process the illegal aliens who have arrived at the southwest border," the report says. "Meanwhile, the Biden Administration’s own policies and so-called enforcement 'priorities' have contributed to reduced arrests and lower removals of aliens."

FLORIDA AG LEADING CHARGE TO FIX “LOOPHOLE”

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody is leading a coalition of other state attorneys general to reverse a catch-and-release "loophole" – especially after the Hamas attacks on Israel.

Moody said that “264 suspected terrorists” have been “unvetted” and released into the United States.

"Given the risks illustrated by what happened this weekend in Israel, I am leading a coalition of 27 attorneys general taking action to force the Biden administration to enact responsible rulemaking to ensure our nation’s security at our Southern Border,” Moody said
