TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA — Today, the DeSantis campaign released a new TV spot and digital ad featuring famous MMA fighter Jorge Masvidal.
The Miami native, whose father escaped from communist Cuba and Fidel Castro’s tyrannical regime, delivers a hard-hitting message on the screen.
“It takes a fighter to know a fighter. And Ron DeSantis, he’s the real thing. He fights for you. He fights for our kids. He fights for our freedom. That’s Governor DeSantis, and he doesn’t tap out. He protects our livelihood and gives kids a chance. He’s doing the right thing in Florida and we’re on to way greater things.”
At the end of the video, Masvidal takes a break from hitting a punching bag and looks at the camera to deliver his final remarks: “We need Governor Ron DeSantis... fighting for Florida to keep us free.”
