Democratic Party Messages on Warren’s State-Issued Devices

The Florida Standard has obtained text messages sent to official 13th Circuit state attorney cellular devices with plans on “attacking Ron DeSantis on various issues.”

TAMPA, FLORIDA — Earlier this week, The Florida Standard exposed the corruption of former state attorney Andrew Warren’s office and alleged misuse of taxpayer money. At the same time, he stood at a podium at a Tallahassee hotel, speaking to the press. Warren shifted blame to the governor and refused to answer questions about trips and expenses he authorized through his state office while coordinating with the Florida Democratic party.

Today, The Florida Standard has obtained text messages sent to official 13th Circuit state attorney cellular devices with plans on "attacking Ron DeSantis on various issues."

In an email and text message sent to Warren and the previous state attorney communications director Grayson Kamm, the Florida Democratic Party announced plans to hold a series of post-primary press conferences around the state. The focus includes issues that the Democratic Party of Florida feels are important to Floridians.

Kobie Christian and Travis Reuther with the Florida Democratic Party sent the messages on Friday inviting Warren and Kamm to help the Party begin the "attacks" this coming Wednesday in Tampa.

According to Warren, he is still the people’s choice in Hillsborough County and believes Governor DeSantis has no authority to remove him from his elected office. Warren continues to bash DeSantis on social media as he digs an even deeper hole for himself.

Using state-issued devices, communications channels, and state resources, including human resources, is a clear violation of Florida law. These violations are fireable offenses. Florida statute 104.31 clearly outlines specific rules for state officials concerning political activity.
